First time I heard of Paramparik from my student Ms. Amrita Panda. But yesterday, I attended their program on classical music at Birla Sabhaghar. That is also my first experience in watching inside beauty of the hall and the Birla Temple situated on the way to Gariahat. My dear daughter is with me. Amrita with her father greeted me at the main gate. She gave us 2 guest cards and helped me to sit almost at near the stage. Her brother Aniruddha also assisted me. She introduced with her elder sister Ms. Ruchira Panda, one famous dancer and instrumentalist. I have never seen veena. First time, I saw Veena. Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt's Mohan Veena is unforgettable. I heard the name of pandit Manas Chakraborty. He performed kheyal. However, time is short for me as I have to return to my house far away from the venue so I am forced to leave the place almost 1/2 an hour before.

Today is the Workers education day. Central Board for Workers Education (CBWE) invited me to attend their program held in Sujata Sadan, near by Hazra crossing. I was greeted by Mr.R.L. Chakraborty, Zonal Director, Mr. S.K. Roy, Regional Director of CBWE, Kolkata, Mr. Aditya Bhattacharya, Mr.P.Mondol, Mr. Chinmoy Bhattacharya, Mr.R.M.Dev and many education officers of CBWE. CBWE was working as one of the wing of International Labour Organization (ILO) . The International Labour Organization (ILO) is devoted to advancing opportunities for women and men to obtain decent and productive work in conditions of freedom, equity, security and human dignity. Its main aims are to promote rights at work, encourage decent employment opportunities, enhance social protection and strengthen dialogue in handling work-related issues.Prof. Sadhan Ghosh of JU chaired the session. Yes! He was a hard task master, greatest critique of my work when I was trying to develop the concept of Spiritual health of Organization based on Indian ethos, he has made me cry day in and day out and was the person who was never satisfied with my quality of work!!. But ALL THESE BEHAVIOUR OF HIS WAS A BLESSING OF HIM SHOWERED TO ME IN DISGUISE as it made me more self reliant, assertive, more divergent thinker. I like Professor Moreno's approach as he tends to invent music out of the participants. But one of the major problems is its failure to standardize the music for different ailments. 25.7.07 Today, I met Honourable Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Naren Dey at his chamber of Writer's building, Kolkata. I was accompanied by some Professors and Administrative officer regarding one project related to attitude of farmers towards acceptance of high yielding technology. 23.7.07 As per schedule Professor Moreno gave seminar on ' Introduction of Music Therapy ' at the CVPR seminar room of ISI. Main Gate of the Indian statistical Institute He initially pointed out history of music therapy, definition and next moved to its application in stress management, pain management, managing disabled children. Next, we have taken lunch. During lunch hour, he told his preference of singara. He is non vegetarian. From there, he went to Kolkata Medical college , the oldest medical college in Bengal and gave one lecture at the auditorium of radiology in front of physicians. Approximately, 40 physicians attended the seminar. In the midst of his presentation, I talked about my experience on vibroacoustic therapy. Medical College Next, I thanked and wished him good bye. He left for Step one foundation with Mr. Anjan Basu and his colleague. Today is 24.7.07, he is now in Bangladesh. He has some talk at Chittagaon.

After the workshop, I went to Music world to buy some music CDs with my class mate, currently, she is Professor of one university. First time, I went to the music world. Next we went to McDondald, this is also my first experience. We took chicken burger and cold coffee there.
