Workers Education
Today is the Workers education day. Central Board for Workers Education (CBWE) invited me to attend their program held in Sujata Sadan, near by Hazra crossing. I was greeted by Mr.R.L. Chakraborty, Zonal Director, Mr. S.K. Roy, Regional Director of CBWE, Kolkata, Mr. Aditya Bhattacharya, Mr.P.Mondol, Mr. Chinmoy Bhattacharya, Mr.R.M.Dev and many education officers of CBWE. CBWE was working as one of the wing of International Labour Organization (ILO) . The International Labour Organization (ILO) is devoted to advancing opportunities for women and men to obtain decent and productive work in conditions of freedom, equity, security and human dignity. Its main aims are to promote rights at work, encourage decent employment opportunities, enhance social protection and strengthen dialogue in handling work-related issues.Prof. Sadhan Ghosh of JU chaired the session.
