My vision about Psychological Assessment

It is my pleasure to inform you that National Academy of Psychology (NAOP) bestowed upon me the responsibility of division convener of the Psychological Assessment. Dear Distinguished Professors of NAOP I am grateful to Professor Suar for selecting   my name as the convener of Psychological Assessment of NAOP.  Below are my few observations about problems of Indian Psychological Assessment. 1. Dependency on foreign test materials.  2. Failure to tap Indian scenario in assessment of psychological construct. This happens due to overemphasis on psychological constructs conceptualized by the Non-Indians. 3. Over emphasis on hypothesis driven, experimentally controlled structured data rather on data driven, minimal controlled by researcher and randomized unstructured data. 4.
