Searching for faculty in cl. psychology

Performing Art Therapy Center of Rabindra Bharati University has completed one
year PG diploma course in performing art therapy. After completion of 2nd year
course, students will be able to assist Psychiatrists, Psychotherapists in
examining psychiatric patients in both hospital and community settings.
Besides, they can provide minimum level of performing art therapy to patients if
necessary.

Now the center is searching for guest faculty in clinical psychology who can
teach clinical psychology to the students using performing art.

Two criteria have been decided:

1. Candidate should be M.Phil in clinical psychology, having experience in
teaching UG or PG students with specific interest in performing art.

2. Candidate should be M.A./M.Sc. with specialization in abnormal/ clinical/
medical/ psychology, having experience in teaching UG or PG students with
specific interest in performing art.

Faculty should be proficient in teaching clinical psychology by demonstrating
performing art.

My first book inauguration

The book titled " Principles of Questionnaire Development with empirical studies (for students and researchers in Social sciences) " (ISBN:9788190992312) was inaugurated by Professor Manjula Mukerjee, The Director of the Indian Institute of Psychometry, Kolkata, in the Workshop on SPSS -SYNTAX held at the Institute dated 29th October, 2010. During her speech, she appreciated the examples cited in this book to understand different principles of questionnaire development. Ms. Rama Manna (standing at the left side)was the co-ordinator of the workshop. The researchers of different specialization (Clinical Psychology,Psychiatry,Education,Human development,Environmental science) of different universities and research institutes attended the workshop. Martin Seligman coined the term - Positive Psychology. It focuses on positive functioning of human being. He suggested self-help techniques: Dr Martin Seligman is the founder of Positive Psychology and explores the latest research in his new book Flourishing.
