My education in Physiological Psychology

My education

The place where in I  studied Physiological Psychology under the guidance of Prof D. N. Nandi. At that time, we studied Physiology authored by C. C. Chatterjee, Physiological Psychology by Morgan and Physiology by Guyton. Sir explained us. Sir demonstrated difference between the epileptic and hysterical fit. Sir left us forever few years ago. He did most important social survey on Neuroticism in the villages of West Bengal. His paper was published in the British journal of Psychiatry. Possibly, Sir was pioneer in India related to electro convulsive therapy or #ECT on Patients with severe psychiatric disorders. I had seen this treatment thrice - one here, one NRS hospital and one Manisha Nursing home, Salkia, Howrah. I did practice at the last one and treated few psychiatric patients with minimal knowledge of Psychology. Now as far as I know ECT is not common practice. This is the first place where in I saw the case of one boy aspiring to be woman #gender_dysphoria. Sir asked the reason. He told unhesitatingly that he wanted baby in his womb. We were totally astonished. He could not answer what he would do next? Only one question changed his decision.
