10 indices for comparing departments of Psychology in university
I have prepared the following 10 parameters based on ratio scale and they are assumed to be correlated with each other. So they can form a meaningful structure. One can use if for assessing effectiveness of psychology department in university.
1. Total teachers/Total Students;
2. Total Classrooms /Total students;
3. No. of Professial courses/Total Teachers;
4. No. of students obtained more than 55% >/Total students;
5. No. of Professial courses/No. of teachers;
6. No. of Professial courses(if experimental)/No. of experimental labs;
7. No. of journal publications/No. of teachers;
8. Amount of grants received for attending conferences/No. of teachers;
9. Utilization of amount/Amount of grants received for publications;
10.Utilization of amount for training,workshop,seminars/Amount of grants received for the same.
