My friend who was working on that day

He was in that factory on that tragic day. I could not recognize him as he was appeared as 70/75 years old, looking pale, blackish, broken teeth. Finally, I heard of that horrible story.

On that day, he was working in that demonic factory, Union Carbide India, Bhopal. He fled away with that gas by jumping as dead bodies were lying on the ground and on the wall. Suddenly, he was caught by some rescue team. Sorry, I can not write that horrible expression what I saw on his face.. It is unimaginable. I do not know the appropriate words to describe the incident. That day is haunting him still now. He suffered from insomnia, respiratory trouble, toothache, decaying muscular strength and visual hallucination. Suddenly, he cried, shouted. He is taking some costly life saving drugs. If he can not take it one day, he will die. His family is highly disturbed. Despite all, for the sake of almighty, he is now happy with his caring wife and children. . He owned house in Nagpur city and maintained some salons in the house with his family.

Possibly, there are many people around us suffering from such trauma. What can Psychologists do to stop their trauma ?

With best wishes,
