Few more days, 2014 will be over. Starting thinking what I have achieved in this year. From January to December, I visited several states - Meghalaya, Assam, Gujarat, Delhi, Maharashtra, BIHAR, Andaman , Madhya Pradesh, Andhra pradesh . Only one foreign country - Malaysia. I taught some new topics in this year - Business analytics in IIM., Shillong, Test- retest reliability : Multivariate modelling. In Facebook, I could disseminate item construction to Indian and foreign students through private group with the help ofImtiyaaz Khan. I published Rabindrik Psychotherapy in the social science journal, published Rabindrik huma values and hierarchical structure. In this year, I collected data from visually impaired children and children rearing at correctional homes.

D Dutta Roy First time, department of Psychology, CU., allocated a good student for Ph.D degree. She is Sucharita Soumya Seal. Despite of her several assignments, she is giving time to me. She is attached with NIMH.

D Dutta Roy Schizophrenia is most challenging topic for Ph.D. Who knows Schizophrenia is Clinical Psychologist. Though I was selected for DM&SP course in CIP, Ranchi in 1983, I did not join as I got chance in IIT., Kharagpur. I wanted to do Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. I am thankful to my beloved studentShivani Santosh, who submitted thesis on Schizophrenia in this year. She did M.Phil from CIP.

D Dutta Roy Sir, this is the first draft of my book. You are my Guru. Please you open the book. I was surprised hearing the request as I did not teach her in PG. Still, it is in my flashbulb memory. She was with her dedicated student 'Jerina'. I opened the draft of her book on Psychology. Very simple and lucid English with case studies and Question & Answers. Before. I was taking lunch in some south Indian restaurant. Suddenly, I heard her voice - Sir. I was surprised looking at her. I could not recognize. She introduced - Sir, I am Pragya Rashmi. How did you get me ? She smiled - Sir, I got you by my GSM. I do not know how is it possible ? In this year, this is my surprise gift.

D Dutta Roy I like him very much as he is strong believer of entrepreneurship in Psychology. He is well known face of young and senior Psychologists. When any one thinks of any psychological test, his name comes. Yes, he is Kranti Srivastava. I am grateful to him. In this year, I visited his institute in Noida for traing on Research Methodology.

D Dutta Roy In Iip Noida, I met group of Young psychologists. Out of them, two presented research papers on Rabindrik human values in the conference on values conducted by Dr. Sunil Saini in Delhi. I am happy as I could spread Rabindrik human values through Shweta Sharma, Smriti Sethi.

D Dutta Roy It becomes unbelievable when I heard of creating research group in Whatzapp through my Noida students. Yes they created Guru shshya research group in Whatzapp and regularly did chat with me.

D Dutta Roy She is always smiling. I am very anxious for her. But she is always cool. She is my beloved student Ms. Nandini Biswas, specialist in human resource management. She is doing Ph.D. under my guidance staying in Delhi. Like, my other students, she is not getting my direct support but she is very mich capable to do it alone as if she is doing D.Sc.

D Dutta Roy When any one is in difficulty, he can sense and try hard to solve the problem. He is Professor Ramalingam Panch, the chief editor of the Jiaap Journal. When my well planned symposium on Rabindrik Psychotherapy is not accepted by the organizing Secy of Tirupati conference of IAAP, he requested me to conduct the symposium at Pondicherry. Sir, I am thankful to you for giving value on Rabindranath Tagore.

D Dutta Roy This year offers me a good student - Ms. Aarti Nagpal. There was high tension for Telengana movement. Got one phone - please do not go to Hyderabad this time Sir from my Delhi student. I landed at HYD with lot of unpredictability. Suddenly, I heard of her sweet voice. My uncertainty was vanished. She always was with me during my visit at Hyderabad, took photo and prepared coffee at the hotel. She proviides online counselling service. She is doing Ph.D. at IIT., Delhi. I wish her success.

D Dutta Roy We are his student, you all missed him. I thought that I could not get chance to teach at performing arts therapy centre, RBU. But, I received invitation that I never imagined. I diverted my Rabindrik psychotherapy to management and school psychology. By her request, again I joined. I am thankful to Madam Remonti Raai for her initiative to open 20 number paper on Rabindrik psychotherapy.

D Dutta Roy This year offers me some seniors. He interviewed me in 1983 at CIP, Ranchi. He asked me demonstration of Rorschach test. He acted as subject. He was pleased. When everyone cried after intervirw, I did not as I noticed his happiness. I have seen him in Facebook. He always blesses me. He is Professor Gaurish Prabhu..Sir, I pray for you.

D Dutta Roy As far my knowledge goes, one orthopedic surgeon is doing research on application of music therapy on pain management. I always receive his support. He is a great social worker. He is a very good speaker also. I am grateful to Dr. Sumanta Thakur.

Manoranjan Sahay Thanks Prof, Dutta Roy. I'm yet to find an enthusiastic researcher, teacher and clinician like you. Mentioning only the positive sides of your vast experiences accrued while working, teaching on land or through internet, meeting with people for the cause of Mental health or attending/presenting your valuable research findings in seminars/conferences or any of your other actvities expose your those great qualities that are envied by many including me. D Dutta Roy To sum up, this year makes me more comptent in teaching research methods to North, North-western, and Western parts of India. Second, this year educates me about typical problems of psychology students from undergraduate to Ph.D. levels. And I am grateful to Facebook friends for their constant supports.
