To be a psychologist, field visit is most important. Data collection based on controlled condition in AC room is not sufficient as the findings will differ in field. Field visit includes three things - observation, role enactment and interviews. The three things should be related with each other in report writing. It mainly covers general health insurance rather mental health care insurance (MHCI) though World Health Organization predicted 20% growth of mental illness in India. There is no systematic study on insurance needs of the beneficiaries. As a result, many mentally ill people are under-insured or non-insured.
